Sree Dhanya

Sree Dhanya is a model, film actress, Television host and has done several ad films. Her real name is Gayathri. She was born on 17th March 1983, in a conservative family of Thrissur, Ernakulam. Her graduation was completed in Vimala College. Her parents were never interested in media or film line. But she had her interest in such field only. But her parents didn’t allow her to do so. Later, she got married to Rishikesh whom she met in the college only. He belonged to Tripunithura. Their marriage was a love-arranged kind of. He was very supportive, and that was the reason that she was able to come to media field after she tied the knot with Rishikesh. She has 2 daughters, Vyshnavi and Mrinalini.

Nikhil was the host of the show. But she didn’t accept. Later, she got associated with Asia net as a star anchor for several shows. Then she did several quiz shows on Television. After getting recognition and reaching big screen of Malayalam, she took a break to pursue Ph.D. Then, as an experiment, she entered in films despite being uninterested, initially. After doing 2 or 3 movies, she got the confidence to accept more roles. She made her debut as a lead in the movie ‘Mummiyude Swantham Achoos’ which was directed by debutant, Raju Maker. Dhanya played the role of a mother in one movie and did several films like Left Right Left. Also, she shared the screen with Mega Star, Mammootty in Manglish. She also won various awards for anchoring.

Dhanya won Kerala State Television Award for Best Anchor for ‘Gruhathuram’ (2012) and Jaycey Foundation Award in 2013 for the same. In the initial days of her media career, she was known as Sree Dhanya. She has an elder brother named, Judith. Since childhood, she was very much fond of dancing. At a very small age she learnt dancing. Her very first movie was ‘Apoorva Ragam,’ but she was in a supportive role in that movie. Sreedhanya is an Indian actress and television host who works primarily in Malayalam films and shows. She was born on 17th March 1983 into a conservative family in Thrissur, Kerala, India. She graduated from Vimala College in Thrissur. She looks like the actress Reenu Mathews. Rishikesh from Tripunithura is her husband, and they have two children. While living in Panampally Nagar, Thrissur, she received her first TV offer for Sing in Win, Kairali TV. Nikhill, the show's host, approached her with the offer. Sreedhanya hosted a talk show on Jeevan TV before landing her first show as an anchor on Amrita TV with Samantharam. She later hosted several programs, such as Vaidyasala, Veedu, and Grihathuram. She appeared in a few movies as a supporting actress before taking on the lead role in Njan Samvidhanam Cheyyum as Gayathri.
