Karthika played the led role of Sarah Kurien, the love interest of the protagonist, Ajippaan Matthew (played by Dulquer Salmaan Dulquer Salmaan is a popular Malayalam actor, who >> Read More... ), who travels all the way to the USA in pursuit of Sarah to meet her before she gets married to someone else but instead gets caught up in a conflict with the American police while trying to cross the US-Mexico border illegally.

While the movie received mixed reviews, Karthika was lauded for her performance. She was born on 18th January 1997 in Kottayam, Kerala to Meena Nair and C. K. Muraleedharan, the eminent cinematographer who directed the photography in several blockbusters, including “ Lage Raho Munna Bhai Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2006), “ 3 Idiots Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2009) and “PK” (2014).

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the Srishti School of Art Design & Technology in Bangalore, Karnataka. In 2018, she featured in her second movie, “Uncle,” directed by Girish Damodar.

She portrayed the lead character, Shruthi, who is stranded in Ooty and is offered a ride back home to Kozhikode by her father’s friend, Krishnakumar (played by Mammooty). The movie was awarded the Kerala State Film Award for Best Story.
