Hima Shankar Sheematty, a well-known actress in the Malayalam film industry, was born on 2nd June 1987 to N. R. Shankaram Kutty and E. V. Kumari in Kodakara, Kerala. She went to St. Don Bosco Girls High School, Kodakara, and completed her Intermediate from Rajashri Memorial Higher Secondary School in Aloor, Kerala. She further received a BA in Sanskrit Vedanta from the Sree Shankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady. She then developed a passion for theatre and joined the University of Calicut School of Drama and Fine Arts to pursue a post-graduate degree in Theatre Arts. She presently owns an institution and is an acting trainer. She currently lives in Thiruvananthapuram. 

From her school days, she started writing some scripts and performed it on stages. She received the first breakthrough of her television career with the TV Serial Ente Manasapurthi (2007-2010), airing on Asianet. She made her first performance in the theatre in 2006 with Sakharam Binder. She was also seen in theatres like Pravaachaka, The Valley Song, Women Without Men, The Lesson, Oru Kathaanaadakam, Yamadoothu, etc. Her debut short movie was released in 2008 called Zyme, and she did many short films like Sharkarasya Gajah, One Fine Day Serial Story Coming Soon...   >> Read More... She also made an appearance in the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1 and was evicted from the house on the 21st day. Later, she entered the house as a wildcard contestant on day 49 and got eliminated on day 77. She is an amazing actor and has made her parents proud by achieving so much at such an early age.
