The young actress hails from ‘Malayankeezhu’ in Trivandrum, the capital of Kerala. Deepa Jayan did her schooling from Trivandrum itself and is currently pursuing final year from a renowned college at Thiruvananthapuram. The actress balances her studies and career quite well. Vidhya Mohan is a South Indian actress, who hails from Thottakadu near Kottayam in Kerala. She is married to the popular Malayalam actor Vinu Mohan, the nephew of “Saikumar.” Vidhya made her debut in ParayanMarannathu in the year 2009. She rose to fame with “Neelambari,” which has “Vineeth” and “Bhama” in lead roles. Vidhya played the second lead and her performance was highly appreciated. She made her debut in Tamil with Aravathu Vanam and Kannada with “Samagama” in the year 2010. Besides these two debut movies, she completed two more films in her home industry Malayalam, Cheriya Kallanum Valiya Policum and Kaalchilambu in the same year. In 2011, she played in three Malayalam films and a Tamil film.  She had been working in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries in equal intervals. Her latest outing in the silver screen is in 2015 in a Kannada film, titled Priya. Vidhya made her mini screen debut in Malayalam with Ente Pennu. The serial is telecasted in MazhavilManorama. Later, Vidhya was replaced by Leena Nair. Meanwhile, she made her debut in Tamil serials with “Valli” telecasted in Sun TV. She has been working in the serial from 235th episode. Before Vidhya stepped in the serial, her character was done by “Uma,” daughter of the veteran actress, “Sumithra.” In Valli, Vidhya plays a dual role, Valli and Vennila. Vennila is a visually challenged girl and hence Vidhya has to strain her eyes to play the role. Her excellent performance in the serial has been highly appreciated by the audiences and hence the serial is running successfully after crossing 1138 episodes.


Athmeeya Rajan

Athmeeya Rajan was pursuing B.Sc. Nursing when she got her first offer for a movie by Seven Arts Mohan. Hailing from the district of Kannur in Kerala, Athmeeya has acted in five films in the last five years since her debut in 2012. She started her career as an actress from a Tamil movie titled ‘Manam Kothi Paravai,’ opposite actor Sivakarthikeyan. The film got released on 1st June 2012 and was directed by Ezhil. Even though acting was not a career preference for her, she was interested enough to accept the offer. She kept her acting on hiatus to complete her studies, after which she took up film offers one after another. Her second movie was in Malayalam – Rose Guitarinaal – in 2013, written and directed by Ranjan Pramod. Atmeeya played the lead role, named Thara, opposite Richard Joy Thomas and Manu. The movie failed to please the audience, but Athmeeya’s talent got a lot appreciation. Her third movie was again in Tamil ‘Pongadi Neengalum Unga Kadhalum’. She played the lead role along with Karunya and Ramakrishnan. The movie release was in 25th April 2015 and was directed by Ramakrishnan. Her next film was ‘Amoeba,’ a Malayalam movie, released in 2016. It was a film based on the endosulfan tragedy. She played the role of a daughter who is the victim in the film. The movie went on to win the ‘Second Best Film’ Award that year. In her new project – Kavviyyan – she is working with another female lead Sridevi Kumar and is casted opposite Shaam. Athmeeya’s father, K V Rajan, is a drama artist. She initially wanted to pursue Clinical Psychology or Journalism. Since her elder sister Athira pursuing B.Sc. Nursing, her mother influenced her to join the same. Athmeeya also mentioned that she is planning to go abroad with her sister and pursue MBA in future.
