Athira Patel is a Malayalam film actress. Her grandfather was a village head in Karnataka and was known as Patelars by the people; therefore; she uses Patel as her last name. Athira started her journey as a lead actress through a Sanskrit movie called Ishti. She got a chance to appear the first time on the screen by a short film named Vuja De.
