Mithun Murali

Mithun is a young actor having worked in a few Tamil and Malayalam films. He is known for his role in the critically acclaimed Tamil movie Vazhakku Enn 18/9 (2012). Having done five films till now, Methuen is one of the most sought-after young actors in the industry today.

He started as a child anchor in the TV show Dial and See. His foray into films was in 2003 with the Mammootty starrer Vajram. It is in 2012 that he got recognition for Vazhakku Enn 18/9. The film garnered lots of praises and awards, including the National Award. This made him open to more film offers. He then starred in the Malayalam remake of the film, Black Butterfly (2013) and followed it with Buddy in the year, as a solo lead.

The latter made him a bankable actor. He was also seen in the recently released Malayalam film Aana Mayil Ottakam. There are no reports of him signing any other film as of now. Having seen a good mix of critical and commercial success at such an early stage of the career, Methuen has certainly set the ball rolling.
