Boban Alummoodan is the son of the yesteryear actor Alummoodan and has five other siblings. Unfortunately, his father died at a young age of 59 due to a massive heart attack, but Boban Alummoodan is trying to carry on his father’s legacy in the Malayalam film industry.
Amongst his known filmography in Malayalam are Canvas (2010), which is about a painter cum dramatist who wants to make an ancient play relevant to modern times; Aandavan, directed by Akbar Jose; The Fire (2003) directed by Shankar Krishna; Punyam (2002) directed by Rajesh Narayanan; Kalyanaraman (2002), which was a romantic comedy film in which, he played the brother of the protagonist.
