Akshay Radhakrishnan

Akshay was born on 14th November 1996 in Aluva, India. He did his schooling at Vidyadhiraja Vidya Bhavan Higher Secondary School and holds a degree in Malayalam literature from Union Christian College, Aluva. Akshay completed his masters at SRM University, Ramapuram Campus, Chennai. Apart from Malayalam, he is fluent in Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi and English language.

Since childhood, he had an interest in acting and used to take part in school dramas. During his college days, Akshay, along with his friends, made a few short flicks. In 2017, he played the lead character in the short film CHAINED, published on YouTube. It gathered a tremendous response from the viewers. Through his friends, he got an opportunity to audition for a crucial role in the movie Pathinettam Padi. Though the movie did not receive a positive response from critics, Akshay's performance received high applauds. During Kerala Flood, Akshay adopted a puppy and named him Veeran. Akshay and his pet dog named Veeran became popular on social media after the actor took his pet with him during a bike journey to Ladakh, India. Veeran accompanied Akshay in every trip of his, such as college events, family events, and movie promotions. Leading daily newspaper Deccan Chronicle made an exclusive story on their relationship.

Akshay is an environmentalist and used to promote a lot of nature-friendly events.
