Vivek Harshan, born on 28 May, 1981 in Kochi , India, is an Indian film editor with a national award to his name for editing film ' Jigarthanda Click to look into! >> Read More... ' in 2014. Harshan developed his interest for movies and editing in his college days where he met equally movie enthusiast friends, and it is then that he started taking things seriously. He learned to edit professionally through a course in Chennai and later assisted renowned editor exact==Anthony to whom he also dedicated his national award. He gives credit to his work to Anthony and says whatever knowledge he has of editing is what Anthony gave him.

In an interview with a national daily, he recounts his early days and hard work, where he pulled all-nighters or would have to travel to Kerala and come back daily while editing two movies together Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and 22 Female Kottayam.
