Vijith Nambiar

Vijith Nambiar is a Director and Music Composer- Director of the Indian Cinema. He is born and bought up in Kannur, India. He was born on 9th December 1977. He completed his schooling from Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Kannur, in the year 1993. Afterward, he went to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and completed Mechanical Engineering in 1999. and was a Mechanical Engineer working for the company Otis, Danway, XSPlatforms.

Vijith finally made his debut in the year 1995 as an assistant director in the Tamil Film Industry. Other than being a director and a music director, Nambiar is a trained Carnatic Singer and that too, under the instruction of the legendary musicians that include late BA Chidambarnath Chennai, Thiruvilwamala Radhakrishnan, and Kajthapram Vishwanatham Nambudiri. But it was finally in the year 2018 that he made his singing debut with Thava Chintasu from the movie Anurakhti and shall be mentioned that Anurakhti is the first 3-D Sanskrit Movie.

And it is the same movie in which he made his acting debut, the movie which also showed cast at IFFI. In 2014, he was given Amrita Alumni Award for the best Entrepreneurship. And in 2018, Nambiar was awarded for best regional feature film Anurakthi in Rajasthan International Film Festival, RIFF 2018.
