Sreekumar Krishnan Nair is a well-known Indian director and filmmaker. Sreekumar was born on the 17th of June, in the year 1961 to M. Krishnan Nair and Sulochana Devi. He hails from a family of intellects. His father is a South-Indian filmmaker, while his brother is an IAS officer. Sreekumar has also worked as an Assistant Director, Chief Associate director, and Second-Unit director. He worked under the guidance of one of the most renowned filmmakers, Hariharan. He worked with him for almost seventeen films.
He is profoundly known for his direction in O Faby that released in 1993. This film is entitled to be India's first live-action animated film. It was a full-length live-action movie that had a combination of animated characters with action moves. It was a movie that amazed people at that time. His first individual direction was for the film Pavakoothu that starred Parvathi and Jayaram. Sreekumar was also a part of the iconic Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha as the chief associate director. Sreekumar Krishna Nair is not only a director, but is also a well-known entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Inetscreen, an online streaming media platform.
