Afsal Abdul Latheef is a writer cum director working in the Malayalam film and TV industries. He is from Karunagappally and settled in Kochi. He completed his schooling at GHSS, Karunagappally. He was graduated from M.G College of Engineering, Thiruvallam. Afsal has a brother, Ajmal. Afsal is married and has a daughter, Ishal.
