Rini Raveendran is an anchor and a dancer. She hails from Kannur, Kerala. She had a great interest in becoming an anchor from her school days. But. she never had the confidence to talk in front of a huge crowd. She got the confidence to be an anchor during her college days. She studied at SN College, Kannur. In college, she was a part of the National Service Scheme (NSS). Through NSS, she was engaged in different activities and attended motivational classes. During those days, she got an opportunity to attend the NSS National Level Camp in Karnataka. She interacted with students from different backgrounds and personalities. The camp session gave her the confidence to do anchoring. She got an opportunity to anchor in Kannur University Program. Students and staff from different colleges attended that program. After that, the student and teachers appreciated her good anchoring. That gave her the confidence to choose anchoring as her profession. She became a professional anchor in 2016; she got an offer to anchor in CP Thaliyal Club’s stage show. After that program, she started to anchor in many different programs.
Apart from being an anchor, she is also a dancer. Though she is not a professional dancer, she has performed for different programs. She always had an interest to dance. She learned classical dance for one year. After entering college, she learned western-style dance and did many dance shows with her troupe. She also teaches the students for programs. She also learned magic tricks from her co-anchor. It shows that she has many interests and is trying to fulfill even her smallest dream. Her family is very supportive. She is happy that she can do everything she likes. She says that we have many talents within us. We have to believe in ourselves and give it a try. By trying, you won’t lose anything. But, you might gain something.
