Amika is the youngest daughter of Mr. Faizal Mohammed and Mrs. Shefena.

Her birthplace is Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Her father is currently working in Technopark, while her mother is a housewife. She isn’t the only child to her parents; she has two brothers; Alif and Aadil. Amika is studying in 5th standard in Alan Feldman Public School, Kazhakuttom, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. She has also won numerous prizes for singing and skits and dramas at school youth festivals.

She also has a good fashion sense because of her interest in it she’s been very active in fashion shows. Amika has also acted in the drama named, BalyakalaSakhi. Amika gave her acting debut in the small screen through the serial ‘Ishtam’ that has been aired on Surya TV.

She didn’t limit herself to drama genre and tried her hand in horror genre by featuring and doing a role in the horror serial ‘EzhuRathrikal’ that has been aired on Asianet. This project was truly a different thing for both Amika and her viewers, as it was the first time they have seen Amika in such a daily opera. The daily soap’s storyline revolved around the series of events that happened in an ancient house Ilanjikkall Tharavadu. Amikadid full justice to her character and gave life to her role which was very well appreciated by the audience.

She later did a short film where she played the role of Angle, which was directed by the famous director Riju Varghese. Amika has also appeared in various commercial ads, one of which is the KSFE commercial which she did alongside Jagadeesh and Lena. Through this commercial, she got noticed as the advertisement become popular in visual and print media.

Amika has been a role model for many child artists who doesn’t showcase their talent at such a tender age just for fear of pressure; she has always managed to do her studies and work consecutively without letting any of them affect the other one. Her parents too, have been her support system all throughout her journey and has motivated her through all phases of her life. Amika is not yet on any social networking site, but her father often keeps posting photos and stuff about her and her belongings, so that her fans can always connect with her and follow her.
