Indrajith R

Indrajith R is an actor, director, cum DOP in the Malayalam entertainment industry. He was born on 4^th July and brought up in Karunagappally. His father, BB Rajagopal, was an advocate. Indrajith completed his schooling at St. Gregorios Central School and graduated from Sree Narayana College, Kollam. Indrajith is a journalism and mass communication graduate. He also went to Kerala Media Academy. Indrajith worked for True TV, a new channel, as a DOP. He also worked as a marketing executive for Nava Kerala News. Indrajith worked for Koncepts Lab as a media associate. He learned acting from Neo Film School.

In 2023, Indrajith was honoured with the Award of Excellence at the MAAC Frame 3rd International Short Film Festival for his directorial venture, Bhoomi. He directed the comedy short Ashanum Pillarum. The same year, he directed Rudhiram, based on Othello, written by Shakespeare. He performed in the musical short Kadavu, directed by Pradeep Elanthoor. He also worked as an associate of Godson Saji for the film Eak Shadi Ayogyan.

In 2024, he scripted and directed Thazhava. He also cranked the camera for Thazhava, which Biju Pillai Nedumpuram produced. His award-winning musical short was remade in Tamil as Ulagam in 2024.
