Karthik Samag

Karthik Samag is an Indian actor hailing from Udupi, Karnataka. Currently, he lives in Bangalore. He did his schooling from SMSP High School, Udupi and graduated from Poorna Prajna College. He is a Karate champion. Karthik is also an amazing classical and a western dancer. He has been a part of many theatre activities because of his passion for drama and his love to be on stage. Karthik has dabbled in various dramas since his early days. He has also acted in few television shows like ‘ Akka Akka is being telecast on TV at from Monday to Fri >> Read More... ’,'Aragini’,etc. ‘Akka’ was his first TV show ever which gained a lot of appreciations.

This Kannada serial is a tale of a youngster who eloped with a beautiful girl. It is full of drama and the substance of the story portrays how to deal with such situations and overcome real-life problems. After ‘Akka’, he tried for another serial which was ‘Aragini’. This serial required his acting skills. Karthik chose to do something like this for the very first time. It wasn’t easy to act for this serial. But he didn’t give up. Rehearsals and retakes, everything was worth it as he could capture his fan following. After his contributions in the small screen, he got a chance to do a Kannada movie.

All thanks to his work recognitions in the television serial ‘Aragini’.Karthik played the role of a villain in Dynamic movie with had the caption- “SamadhigalaMelonduPremaThallana”. The movie got mixed responses though the filmmakers were satisfied that the film has come out to be really well. It was low budget movie but involved a lot of commitment and hard work from the cast and crew members. Doing a negative role in this movie was not a big botheration for Karthik. In fact, he enjoys such intense roles. He started his career in the Kannada film industry very recently in February, 2016. Therefore, he has two-three projects lined up on his way!
