Vignesh Shetty Kannada Actor

Vignesh Shetty is an Indian director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for penning down and directing Hungama Play’s crime-drama web series “ Bar Code Serial story coming soon... >> Read More... Bar Code ” (2018). A party animal, Vignesh likes to club a lot and some friends who are nightclub owners. It seeded in his mind the idea to capture what really goes on in the clubbing business, thereby leading to the creation of Bar Code, which revolves around two friends who own a nightclub business but are forced to go their separate ways due to their differences, resulting in an egoistic animosity between them.

Vignesh was born and raised in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where he attended the St. Joseph’s School. He enrolled in the Seshadripuram College but dropped out early to join and graduate from the M.S. Ramiah College with a Bachelor’s degree in business management. For his post-graduation, he went to the Xavier Institute of Communications in Mumbai, where he received his diploma in advertising. He made his debut as an assistant director for the romantic drama “Kyun! Ho Gaya Na...” (2004).

He was hired by Warner Bros. India to head its Hindi Films Division as a creative director in 2012 after he assisted with the visualization of the comic blockbuster “Taxi No. 9 2 11: Nau Do Gyarah” (2006.
