L R Ramanujam is a music director by profession who works in the Indian film industry. His contributions to the Kannada music industry are noteworthy. He is widely known for his work in Pungidasa in 2014, AK 56 in 2012 and Murali Meets Meera in 2011.

The screens saw his most recent work in the Movie Panipuri, a comedy and drama movie, in 2017, as a playback singer. He is a native of the city Tumkur, which is situated in the state of Karnataka, but he currently resides in Bangalore in Karnataka He has a degree of master of arts as well as a Ph.D. in Carnatic music.

He is a talented and versatile musician and has expertise in various genres of music like Carnatic classical music as well as semi-classical and light music. He also sang for the movies AK 56 and Bheema Theeradalli in 2012. His other projects include Murali Meets Meera in 2011, Vichithra Premi, an unusual love story, in 2010 and Ravana, a Kannada adventure film, in 2009.
