Roopa Shree hails from Karnataka and belongs to a family with an acting background. This young actress started working in the Sandalwood Industry at a very young age. She is equally passionate about dance and music, as much as she is about novels. She finished her schooling at St. Hilda's school in Ooty, and in Sacred Heart School, Chennai, She completed her graduation from St. Joseph's Commerce College, Bangalore. She mostly acts in Kannada movies and also acts in Tamil and Telugu films. She started her acting career in the film Abhi in 2003, opposite Kannada actor Puneet Rajkumar.
