Born on 20th August, 1993, ‘Aarushi' is a young Indian film and theatre actress. She started her career in the film industry with a Kannada film called Hendithge Helthini, when she was just in grade one. She could not pursue more films for a couple of years due to academic reasons. Her next assignment was of an advertisement when she was 15, marking the start of her modeling career, enabling her to star in over 3000+ ads. She made her debut as a film actress in a Tamil movie, where she landed the leading role. Alagan Alagi, directed by Nanda Periyasamy, was a romance movie that received mixed reviews from the critics. After this movie, she went ahead to sign two more Tamil films, ‘Adithalam’, and Ganja Karuppu’s Velmurugan Borewells.

In 2013, she debuted in her first Telugu movie, Premantene Chitram. Aarushi has been quite the intellect, apart from an actress and good looks. Kruthika Jayakumar is a talented dancer and hails from an orthodox Tamil Brahmin family. Her parents had never opposed this actress when she wanted to make her break on the silver screen. She trained herself in Bhartanatyam for ten years. As a classical dancer, she performed all over India.
