Channe Gowda is an Indian actor from the Kannada Film Industry. Popularly known as Gaddappa, He was born on January 1 1943, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He worked in the Sandalwood entertainment industry, and his work has been released in Kannada language movies. He made his debut in the movie Thithi. The movie was a hit and won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Kannada. He appeared in many films with Century Gowda and Abhishekh, including Tharle Village and Yen Nin Problemu.
His work also includes films like Halli Panchayathi, Thathanna Thithi Mommagana Prasta, Haalu Thuppa, Nan Magale Heroine, Kanthri Boys, and Chinnada Gombe. He also featured in a few music videos like the indie album KA-01 and Nan Kannadiga. He has been severely unwell recently and is battling paralysis. The veteran actor has also been suffering from a heart ailment, cough and wheezing, hearing impairment, and other age-related issues.
