Badiger Devendra is a Kannada Film director from North Karnataka. He stays in Bangalore. He completed his education in Mysore. His debut movie, Rudri, made him an acclaimed director. Since a very young age Badiger Devendra showed interest in Theatre and Cinema. He used to study the flair of various actors and their performances closely. He has written several screenplays for feature films and short stories and is interested in directing movies. Badiger Devendra has won many awards, such as Best debut director from Tagore International Film Festival, and from International Open Film Festival, Dhaka. His debut film, Rudri, portrays the stronger side of women. Also, his movie ‘In’, tells us about the mental trauma created by the pandemic and lockdown.
