R. Chittibabu is an Indian cinematographer who primarily works in Kannada films. Chittibabu's birthplace is Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. He was born on 25th May 1927. His cinematography was not only limited to Kannada Film Industry. Chiitbabu has also worked in several Bollywood films like Teri Meharbaniyan and Jawab Hum Denge. He received many awards for his cinematography, like Lavanya Film Award for Excellent Cinematography for Naa Ninna Mareyalare in 1976, Madras Film-Fans Award, and the Lions Club Shield.
