Abhilash Kalathi is best known for his work on Huttu Habbada Shubhashayagalu (2021), Baanadariyalli Kathah Vichitrah (2017), and Ninna Sanihake (2021) He graduated from SAE Institute with a diploma in digital filmmaking. He earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Sheshadripuram Arts, Science, and Commerce College. He worked freelance for various companies such as SGN Advertising, White and Grey Pictures, Crystal Park Cinemas, and similar companies Abhilash was named the Best Cinematographer for the short film Mahaan Hutatma at the 2019 Bangalore International Short Film Festival, and the film also received a National Award - 2019 for Special Mention in the Non-Fiction category.
