Abhinav Vishwanathan

Abhinav Vishwanathan is an Indian model and actor who mainly works in the Kannada showbiz industry. He was born on July 31, 1997, in New Delhi. In 2008, his family moved to Bangalore. He studied at the Bal Bharati Public School in Noida until grade 5. Then, he moved to Vidya Niketan Public School, Ullal, and later went to the Deeksha School of Learning in Bangalore. After that, he completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree in Electronics and Communication at the Dayananda College of Engineering (DSCE), Bangalore. Following a campus recruitment drive, he got placed with Hewlett Packard (HP) at Bagmane Tech Park office in CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore. He worked for a year at HP, before giving up his corporate career and determined himself to take acting as his full-time career.

He is familiar with four languages, including Tamil, Hindi, English, and Kannada. Abhinav Vishwanathan’s mother, Geetha Vishwanathan, is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, a Past Life Regression therapist, and a Sound Healer. She is also a Superintendent in the Ministry of Law. While his father, Vishwanathan Rajagopalan, worked in real estate. Abhinav Vishwanathan’s interest in acting owes from his mother’s friend, who once directed a play. Later, he gave a halt to his passion for acting after the engineering degree. Further, he juggled with his acting assignments and corporate career when he joined a theatre group called Forum Three. There, he learned and pursued professional acting under the guidance of Ranjan Ghosal.

Abhinav Vishwanathan began his acting career with short films before entering the theatre. After two years, he marked his television film debut in the Kannada drama, titled Nannarasi Radhe, aired on Colors Kannada. After beating many professional models, he won the title of First Runner Up at Starlife Mr. India 2019 by Night, despite no prior training in modeling. Aside from these, he is skillful at classical music. He learned Hindustani sangeet in Delhi and Carnatic music in Bangalore under the guidance of Chinmaya M Rao, the founder and Principal of Swaramedha Music Academy. He also learned to play the Keyboard under Shri Jaiprakash of Sri Veenavani Music School. He took part in the largest electronic keyboard ensemble, which consisted of four-hundred participants. Also, this was registered with the Guinness Book of World records.
