Jagdeep Sidhu

Jagdeep Sidhu was born on January 2, 1988, in the Mohali district of Punjab. Jagdeep has a fulfilled family, which includes his parents, sister, wife, and his two daughters, Rabab and Majaz. He persuaded his graduation from Punjab University, Patiala. Jagdeep Sidhu is a dialogue writer, screenwriter, and director working for the Punjab film industry and Bollywood. His storylines are unique and audience engaging, but he didn’t become a marvelous writer in a day. Since his childhood, he started writing and polishing his skills. Ten years of practice made him what he today is. His career began with writing dialogues for Hindi films, namely Jal, Ronde Sare Vyah Picho, and Just U & Me. Afterward, he started his career composing scripts for Punjabi films. Although he has worked on many projects, some of his notable works comprise Qismat, Shadaa, Sufna, Qismat 2, and Nikka Zaildar.

He has been nominated for numerous awards, such as Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue Awards in PTC Punjabi Film Awards and Filmfare Awards Punjabi in 2016 and Best Screenplay and Best Dialogue Awards at Punjabi Filmfare Award in 2017. Through Qismat, he won the Best Debut Director Award at PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2019 and the Best Entertainer Award at PTC Punjabi Film Awards through Shadaa in 2020. Besides films, he has also worked on songs such as Baith Ke Jahaaji, Saanjh, and Zinda. Apart from being an astonishing writer, he is also engrossed in boxing. His upcoming film is Qismat 3; I hope the audience will love it.
