Deepika Samson is an Indian actress active from the year 2009 up to the present. She was born on August 6, 1986 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. She currently presides in Mumbai and known for her character as Simar Prem Bharadwaj in the famous Indian soap on Colors TV, Sasural Simar Ka in 2011 up to the present. She plays as one of the main lead in the story of two sisters who lives in the same house after marrying two brothers. The story was casted with Dheeraj Dhoopar, Avika Gor and Manish Raisinghani. She was nominated for a total of eight awards for her role as Simar in Colors Golden Petal Awards in year 2011 to 2013. She won the Most Sanskaari Personality and the Most Bhavuk Personality Awards. However, Deepika recently quit the show citing creative differences and career growth.

Deepika’s father was an Army Officer and as a result, she along with her family moved around a lot, because of which she had to learn to adapt to different environments very quickly. Her favorite childhood memory is how her dad used to pamper her a lot, and how she really wanted a new edition of Cycle Barbie, but her mother did not agree as she already had a lot of toys. However, her father relented and got it for her anyway. Her New Year’s gift to herself is a little pug dog. Her favorite TV show of all time is Sanjeevani, which she watched a lot when she was a teenager. 

She worked as a flight attendant for three years and ventured into acting. Her mom thought that she should try her luck in doing daily soaps, so she auditioned for several TV shows. Deepika started acting on television when she played as Lakshmi/Devi in the mythological television series, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi in 2010 on Imagine TV which portrayed a dark part of Indian culture that reeks of superstition and disbelief at the hands of a small girl who is believed to be the reincarnation of a goddess, followed by her role as Rekha in the TV series, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo from 2010 to 2011. 

The actress enjoys dancing and cooking; in fact, this was another reason she was able to relate to, and play Simar’s role very well, as she was another girl who loved the same. Deepika is also a big fan of Madhuri Dixit and Smriti Irani, and looks up to them greatly. Deepika is a self-confessed workaholic. She wants to portray different characters from what she already did in the past. She would love to do shows like Maryado: Lekin Kab Tak that tackles real life problems. She was married for three years to pilot, Raunak Mehta but the two already parted ways. Meantime, Deepika is thinking if she would try Bollywood to do films.

Deepika found that occupation as an easy and a rewarding one, but on the other hand also time consuming, so she decided to change her profession and look for another profession she can relate to. Giaa Manek is an Indian TV actress, born on February 18, 1986 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat but she was brought up in Mumbai. Her parents are Reena and Harshad Manek. Giaa started doing ‘Amul’ and ‘Vatika Hair Oil’ commercials when she was just 17 years old. She debuted in the movie Na Ghar Ke Na Ghat Ke, where she played as Neena Gupta and Om Puri’s daughter. She became popular for doing the lead role in the Indian drama series, ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ as Gopi Modi but she was later replaced by the actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee. Giaa was also part of the Indian sitcom, ‘Jeannie Aur Juju’ which on SAB TV where she played the role of Jeannie alongside Ali Asgar. She won the Best Actress Awards in the 22nd Kalakar Awards for her appearance in Jeannie Aur Juju.  Giaa didn’t have any professional acting training, but she says that her skills in acting were improved because of the many auditions she had before she had her first break in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She is a fan of Salman Khan and Kareen Kapoor. During her free time, she loves to spend time at home. Giaa Manek loves soft, romantic music and other romantic comedies like DDLJ and Maine Pyaar Kiya.  Aside from acting, she enjoys dancing and was even joined the 5th season of the dance competition show, Jhalak Dikhla jaa. Giaa’s fans love her a lot because she is always in touch with them, answering and retweeting their messages and well wishes. She also enjoys designing pottery and Mehendi as her hobbies. After her stint in Jeannie Aur Juju, Giaa has taken a hiatus and catch up with all the lost moments of the past five years. She enjoyed all her time with family and friends. She loves eating street food and Vada Pav is her favourite. She is very proud of her new house in Malad, Western Mumbai which she recently bought through her hard work. She loves going to Worli Sea Face especially when she feels down and sad.  She feels that she was made for acting and this super girl fought with her fate and showed her talent to the world. Like many talented people in the industry, Giaa also struggled in the beginning of her career. However, she dint lose hope until she was finally given a chance to show her skills in Saath Nibhaana Sathiyaa.
