Watching this serial might make you wonder that ‘Where is the logic?’. This show is a story of two sisters Roli and Simar who after some circumstances marry into the Bharadwaj Family. Due to which both of them end up being sister-in-laws (such fate). In the course of proving themselves as the best Bahus, the serial takes a turn of events where Simar switches roles like Maya, Icchadari naagin, Daayan and Patali Devi to save the Bharadwaj family from trouble. In few episodes, she also turns into a fly. Yes, you read it correct ‘A FLY’!! Are you wondering who would even want to watch such nonsense? Well so are we. But needless to say, the show holds a rating of 1.1/10.
CID has been running for 19 long years on Indian television with a rating of 6.6/10. It is a detective series based on Crime Investigation Department of India. In this series, the CID uses all sorts of absurd techniques to connect the culprit to the crime scene and probably the victim too. The head officer is ACP Pradyuman, his best people in the team are Abhijeet and Daya. While Daya is relevant only for breaking the doors, Abhijeet is shown using his intellectual self to get to the conclusion. The team has some special abilities and when those are combined together they can identify the cause of death and the identity of the murderer by just looking at the corpse. The star of the show is ACP Pradyuman because he can solve any case within seconds just by applying Flemming’s Right Hand Rule.
The Television Industry is been gifted with talented writers who come up such scripts that no one can dream of even in their worst nightmares. Saathiya is an outcome of this misfortune. The story revolves around Gopi, a sweet, innocent and shy girl. Rashi, her cousin, plays the Vamp. They both get married in the same household and face Kokila as their Mother-in-law. In the serial, Gopi comes across many difficulties plotted by Rashi and Urmila. Since then, the show has taken three leaps. The best part about is that no one has aged till now. Age miracle cosmetics at its best i say. The audience must be curious to know their secret.
Talking about illogical series, we have another entry in our list. It is an absolute melodrama with a ridiculous storyline. The show revolves around Ishita Iyer, a Tamilian girl and Raman Bhalla, a Punjabi boy (divorcee). Initially, everyone envies each other and try to pull several marriages down. After some time, everything falls into place. But then a supernatural entity is introduced as Shagun (Raman’s ex-wife) commits suicide. The show severely lacks the storyline.
This story is about Naitik and Akshara, who live in a joint family. The show entertains its audience with overacting, huge sets and cheesy dialogues. And above all, one can never judge to where the story is leading. The story is all about a rich family, which resides in a luxury bungalow which does not actually face any day to day issue. So probably the only they come up with includes certain medical conditions. Naitik slips into a coma due to a fatal accident on the same day when his son is born. Due to some incident, Akshara is blinded. A miracle happens when Naitik is cured from the paralysis and after which Akshara recovers from her eyesight.
The story begins with Sandhya, the protagonist of the show. Her brother fooled her to marry a sweet shop owner. She aspires to become an IPS officer and in spite of certain dramatic circumstances she manages to clear the exam, with the help of her very supporting husband, Suraj. The story proceeds further, and Sandhya is assigned to do an undercover operation and is unfortunately captured by the gang. Suraj, the sweet shop owner, is moved by his love for her and he rescues her. Sandhya gives birth to twins. Soon, she is rewarded with an honorary award. The plot itself does not fail to give you the doubt that the storyline does not exist.
The show that initially was interesting but the lack of good jokes and punch lines diminished its popularity. The story is set in a residential colony called the Gokuldham society. It is a family entertainment drama with no proper scripts. Moreover, there is a repetition of similar stories which makes the show even more uninteresting.
The story of Pragya who is the female lead in the show, a very serene girl who marries a rockstar Abhi to and later on falls in love with him. The storyline is completely shallow and despite this fact, the makers are extending it. The show revolves around a series of mishaps as Pragya goes missing, Abhi had an accident and loses his memory, Abhi’s ex-girlfriend Tanu is pregnant with his child and so on. The series goes on like forever making it one of the most illogical serials that has been aired on the television.
The sole motive behind making this show, was to put some light on the problem of child marriage in our country. The show was well appreciated in the beginning by the viewers. Everyone praised the adorable young couple “ Jadhiyaa and Anandi”. But as the show took a few leaps the plot ended up as the regular daily soap drama with nothing substantial happening in it, watching this serial is a waste of time.
When it comes to illogical serials, this show is the clear winner. This fact is quite evident from the storyline which goes Shivanya, the Icchadari Naagin sets to take revenge of her parent’s murder and to do so she marries Ritik, one of the murderer’s son. After a series of utter melodrama, Shivanya succeeds in her mission. Ritik and Shivanya are blessed by Lord Shiva that they will have a son who will be either a Naag or a human. The show fails to impress the audience due to its excruciating plot. It is high time that viewers must move on from this mind- boggling television shows and find something refreshing and entertaining to watch.
