Shoaib Ibrahim is a popular model and Hindi television actor. was born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Shoaib was not a born actor, nor did he have any acting background. He completed his graduation in computer engineering, when he was selected for the popular NDTV Imagine show, ‘’. This TV serial gave Shoaib overnight popularity and huge success. His role as Karan was loved by viewers of all ages.

Right after the show, in 2011 he featured in another Hindi Soap launched by Sahara One. This show was called ‘’ and here he played the role of Amber Shastri, Niyati’s love interest. His sizzling chemistry with Niyati, turned out to be one of the most unique aspects of the serial. In fact, the TRP of the serial rose commendably because of this mind boggling chemistry.

In the same year, Shoaib was chosen for the popular Hindi-TV show of Colors called ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. His role of Prem, Simar’s husband, in the serial made Shoaib a household name. In this serial he played the role of a loving and caring husband who cares for his wife and family to the utmost. Shoaib’s character was praised and loved by viewers. However, in 2013 he quit the show as the current track of the show did not fit his standards. The TRP of the show fell down to a commendable extent, after Shoaib left.

‘Sasural Simar Ka’ was his last TV-show, but according to sources, he will feature in a new serial very soon. Right now Shoaib is concentrating on modeling.
