Later, she was cast in ‘Air Hostess’. The story is a love story of a poor girl Mansi, whose father was Mr. Ramakant, a lower-class employee, a cleaner in Airport. But yet Mansi fell in love with a wealthy boy Aryan, who is from a high-class society. After an extended sequence of their love story, Mansi decides to become an Air Hostess to take back Aryan from Saniya.
Krutika Desai Khan played the other female lead in the series. The show was liked by the youth who liked Kitu’s colourful image on the small screen. To add glamour in the show, a song titled ‘Dhadkan Meri Ye Sada De’ was played in the series which became a bit popular with youths of our country. It was a blockbuster serial aired on Doordarshan. RDG Production, Utopia Productions and Doordarshan had crafted the show for DD national channel.
