Born in New Delhi, Vineet completed his schooling from the Delhi Public School. In the school, he used to actively participate in plays and had a fervent desire to direct. He completed his graduation in from the University of Greenwich, London, UK, and then, he went to study filmmaking for four years. When he returned to India, he started making ad films and documentaries, one of which was for the BBC.

The movie was a failure to capture the audience’s imagination and didn’t stand up to the expectation of media, mass, and movie reviewers. It took Vineet six months to lay down the groundwork for the movie from script to direction to production. The reason he chose the subject of ‘children’ is that very few films are made about children. His message was to encourage children to chase their dreams. He had read a few scripts before fixating on the children-themed scripts.
For the protagonists, they had to audition around 10,000 children, out of which only eight cut the mark. The process of filmmaking was enjoyable.
