They got married in 2001 but had a divorce in 2009. She started designing a friend’s room in the year 1997. When she got married to Aditya, Payal has become involved in designing for the Yash-Raj Studios in Andheri. She started to design cafés and did an Italian restaurant for Sunil Kapur. That’s how she got into working on commercial spaces. She’s a bit selective in designing homes and picks only those potential clients whom she feels positive vibes.

Payal also graduated Commerce at Mithibai College, Mumbai. She has many restaurants in Bengaluru and Mumbai. She loves to cook only to de-stress. Payal also loves going everywhere to check out the architecture of the place and the cuisine. She particularly loves the Miss Ko in Paris and the Box Park in Dubai.
