Sushant Singh is an Indian film actor and a host of television shows. He was born in Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, India on 9 March 1972. He mentioned in an interview that he was not a very cool guy during his college times. He did his schooling from Nainital from Birla Vidya Mandir. He was passionate about being an actor since his childhood, and so he joined Ebrahim Alkazi Living Theatre Academy in 1992. He participated in a few plays there like Greek Tragedy and Death of a Salesman. He entered Bollywood in 1998 in the movie called Satya directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

His character was not very much significant though. Ram Gopal Varma impressed from his acting took him for Kaun and Jungle as well. It was after the release of movie Jungle in 2000 that he gained popularity all over. He performed significant roles in the movie like Ambedkar and 16 December after that and then what happened, changed his life. He was offered to play Sukhdev in The Legend Of Bhagat Singh. The role was difficult to perform and to understand the character he read books about Bhagat Singh, and he got motivated from him. He got confidence from the stories of those legends, and he changed his lifestyle as well for that film so that he gives his best shot and to have a physique and personality like those legends.

The director of the movie Raj Kumar Santoshi also made him work hard for the role as well. During the shooting, he met Ajay Devgn and became good friends with him. He was reaching great heights in the Bollywood after that, and then he also gets good parts in movies like Dum, Darna Mana Hain, Lakshya, Paathshala, Chaar Din Ki Chandni. He also did a few Telugu films, and since 2005 he is seen in almost 3-4 movies every year. He was in the movie Hate Story released in 2014 where he played the negative role which was appreciated by everyone very much.

He was also in the movie Baby released in 2015 where he played the character named Wasim Khan. He got married to Mollina Singh and is having two children named as Kuhu Singh and Shivaaksh Singh. He not only did movies but has also performed in television shows like Virrudh and ‘Zindagi Ka Har Rang…..Gulaal’.He also hosted the show called Wanted: High Alert. He did a great job in Savdhaan India: India Fights Back a show of Life OK and Star Utsav and was admired by everyone. Besides all this, one of the achievements of his life is that he is the Honorary Secretary of Cine and Television Artists Association (CINTAA). He is having a great career ahead as an actor as a host and as honorary secretary as well.

Raj Tandon was one of the young actors who was ready to grab his place in Bollywood. He was supremely confident and did hardly look like first-time actors as this actor was highly talented. The role suited him a lot, and he won rave praises from the critics too. By his exposure in the first film, the actor floored everyone with his performance, and this is the reason that the film was selected in many international film festivals.
