Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who is well known for directing movies like Waqt, Namaste London etc., had went on a short break after Commando 3 barely managed to recover its budget. Despite attempts to ban the movie, the film turned out to be a surprise blockbuster, reviving Vipul Shah’s career as a producer. He last produced Bastar : The Naxal Story, also directed by Sudipto Sen. This movie wasn’t as successful as its predecessor.

On the other hand, Manoj Bajpayee is aiming to make a strong comeback on both the silver screen and the OTT. He is currently awaiting the release of the much talked about season three of the espionage thriller The Family Man, which will focus on the problems in the North eastern regions of India. Apart from The Family Man 3, Bajpayee is also working on an untitled biopic, which will focus on ACP Madhukar Zhende, the cop who had managed to recapture notorious serial killer Charles Shobhraj after he escaped from Tihar Jail in 1986.
