Dharmendra Singh Deol was born on 8th December 1935 in Punjab, India. He is considered to be an asset of the Indian film industry. He is an icon of the Bollywood film industry, and he has acted in movies that are indeed blockbusters. Currently, he resides in Phagwara, Punjab. He is a very popular actor as well as producer of films. He got into politics as well, and he is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
He got married to Parkash Kaur in the year 1954 and was blessed with four children. He also married the prominent actress namely
Hema Malini in the year 1980 and then had two children. The names of his children are
Sunny Deol, Ajeeta Deol, Vijayta Deol,
Ahana Deol, and Esha Deol.
During 2012, he was honoured by the Indian government with Padma Bhushan award. It is the third civilian award by the Government of India, and he deserves getting it. He got the New Talent award from the Filmfare magazine. The best part of Dharmendra Singh Deol is that he acted with almost all the members of the Kapoor family. He was nominated as a jury for the Television show namely India’s Got Talent. He played the lead role until the year 2003, and he gave a break for about four years.
