Born on January 27 1969 to a Punjabi family Bobby Deol is born to yesteryear superstar Dharmendra. His sibling is Bollywood actor . Thriller films are Bobby Deol’s forte and he also played the negative character who is the prisoner of circumstances. His hit list includes Barsaat, Soldier, Gupt, Badal, Dostana, Humraaz, Badal, Bicchoo, Ajnabi etc. The film Gupt skyrocketed his career; his role in the film was very much appreciated. Soldier is also a successful film in his career.

Originally known as Vijay Singh Deol, Bobby Deol was credited with the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his brilliant performance in “Barsaat” (1995).
