Ankush Mohite was a talented Indian actor who has worked in more than 30 Hindi movies. Ankush did his Bollywood debut with the movie, “Nyay Anyay”. The movie released in 1990. He worked with legendary actors like Jeetendra,
Sumeet Saigal, and
Jaya Prada. The movie was directed by Lawrence D’Souza. His second appearance was in the movie, Prahaar: The Final Attack in 1991. The movie was directed by Subhankar Ghosh and
Nana Patekar. Ankush did the role of local goon sharing the screen with actors like
Madhuri Dixit, Nana Patekar,
Makarand Deshpande, etc.
Then he did a movie with legendary actors like
Shah Rukh Khan,
Rishi Kapoor, and
Divya Bharati in the movie, “Deewana”. The movie was directed by
Raj Kanwar and was released in the year 1992. In the same year, he did a movie directed by
Deepak Anand and starring
Arun Bakshi, etc called “Balwaan”. In 1993, he appeared as Ankush Mohit in Krishan Avtaar starring
Mithun Chakraborty, and
Somy Ali. In the same year, he did another two movies called Parwane and Elaan. He was Chatur Singh Chitah’s goon in the movie, Krantiveer released in 1994. The role of Chatur Singh Chitah was played by Danny Denzongpa.

Tu Chor Main Sipahi”, directed by

Amitabh Bachchan, and Betaabi. He was cast in the movie, Aakrosh: Cyclone of Anger. The movie was released in 1998. He played the role of Romi in the movie, Laawaris. Released in 1999, the film was directed by Shrikant Sharma starring Dimple Kapadia,
Akshaye Khanna, etc.
In 2000, he did films like Haseeno Ka Mela, Baaghi starring Sanjay Datt, and Deewana starring Ajay Devgn. He also worked with
Sunny Deol in the film “Indian” released in 2001. He appeared in four movies in the year 2002. They were Khoobsurat Khiladi, 64 Kaam Kalayen, Gangobai, and Maseeha. In 2003, he was seen in movies like Prachin Kama Sutra, Kaam Kriya, Ek Raaz Mere Dil Mein Hai, Tada, and Patth. His last two movies were “Mirchi: It's Hot” released in 2004 and “
Big Brother” released in 2007. After a wide career of almost 32 movies, Ankush Mohite passed away on 1 June 2016 in Mumbai.
