Horror Genre Yet To Be Discovered Fully In India- Sharman Joshi

Raju from Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “3 Idiots” feels that the genre of “Horror” has got a very marginalised audience. He feels that it needs to be brought forth in the proper manner and be promoted in a way that the audience is intrigued. He says that the number of people you connect with a Romantic or Comedy movie is way higher than that while filming a Horror flick. He assumes that this is the reason why people tend to avoid it. He will be seen in the upcoming Horror film “1920 London”. He shares that the director of the film Vikram Bhatt had approached him, and the first thought that came to him was that he was getting an opportunity to be a part of a successful franchise in Bollywood. He also commends the script due to the strength in that it possesses from the time he went through it. The actor who believes in ghosts and spirits personally plays the role of an exorcist in the film. It stars Meera Chopra and is set to release on the 6th of May.
