Sihi Kahi Chandru is a noted artist in Kannada films and television. He is also a producer, director, and a theatre personality noted for his famous comedy play Nee naa naadare Naa nee ne na?, an adaption of Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Errors. He was given this name after his TV serial Sihi Kahi aired on Doordarshan during 1986-87. His wife

They played the role of husband and wife in the serial; the show was very popular among Kannada audiences as Doordarshan was the only means of entertainment in television those days. After then the success of the serial gave both Chandru and Geetha the name “Sihi Kahi Chandru” and “Sihi Kahi Geetha”. Sihi Kahi literally means – the collaboration of bitter and sweet, in the Kannada language. Soon after the end of the Sihi Kahi serial, love blossomed between the two actors and they got married in the year 1990. The couple has two daughters named Hitha and Kushi.
