Sihi Kahi Chandru is a noted artist in Kannada films and television. He is also a producer, director, and a theatre personality noted for his famous comedy play Nee naa naadare Naa nee ne na?, an adaption of Shakespeare’s play The Comedy Of Errors. He was given this name after his TV serial Sihi Kahi aired on Doordarshan during 1986-87. His wife Sihi Kahi Geetha also acted in the serial. They played the role of husband and wife in the serial; the show was very popular among Kannada audiences as Doordarshan was the only means of entertainment in television those days. After then the success of the serial gave both Chandru and Geetha the name “Sihi Kahi Chandru” and “Sihi Kahi Geetha”. Sihi Kahi literally means – the collaboration of bitter and sweet, in the Kannada language. Soon after the end of the Sihi Kahi serial, love blossomed between the two actors and they got married in the year 1990. The couple has two daughters named Hitha and Kushi.

Chandru made his debut with the movie Ganeshana Maduve in the year 1990 where he played a role of a tax inspector. Later he appeared in Golmaal Radhakrishna and its sequel. Chandru also acted in supporting roles and as a comedian in Kannada films. He shares superb chemistry with the actors Bank Janardhan and Umashree in many movies as a comedy actor. Apart from comedy roles, he has also performed as a negative character that shows his diversity in roles ranging from comedy to negative. Gowri Ganesha, Puttakkana Highway, Tenali Rama, Sparsha, Maathad Maathadu Mallige, Nanu Nanna kanasu are some of his noted works. Devara Nadalli is his latest Kannada film, where he worked with Prakash Raj and Achyuth Kumar.

As a television personality, Chandru successfully hosted the show Bombat Bhojana on Suvarna channel. His concept and style of cooking has amazed many viewers and encouraged men to try their hand at cooking. His directorial masterpieces are TV serials Silli Lalli and Paapa Pandu. He participated in the show Thaka Dhimi Tha Dancing Star aired on ETV, in 2014.

In the year 2015, a movie was released Dry Dreams, Siddharth Sengupta was one of the story-writer with Hanish Kalia for the movie. The movie starred television actors like Mann Gandhi, Barun Sobiti, and Kritika Kamra and the movie was directed by Hanish Kalia as well. Though the movie was not a success, but again the storyline was outstanding. Sultana Siddiqui is a Pakistani television director and producer. She is a business woman too. She is more popularly referred as Sultana Apa. Sultana hails from Karachi. She is the only lady in Asia to start her TV channel. Siddiqui is the president and founder of “Hum Network Limited”. In 1974, Sultana embarked on her career from PTV as a producer. She was conferred the “Leadership Award 2014” in 2014. Sultana appeared in the book “100 performing CEOs and Leaders of Pakistan” for her contribution and dedication as a true entrepreneur in Pakistan. She won the Scroll of Honour Award at the 5th GR8! Women Award held in Dubai. She was applauded for her contributions to the industry. Some other felicitations include Women of Vision Award, Nigar Award, the Gold Medal Award and the Pride of Performance Award to name a few. This award was conferred by the government of Pakistan. Her works concentrate on social issues especially that of women empowerment. Sultana Siddiqui had been the ambassador to Pakistan in various international seminars and forums as well.
