Anant Mahadaven is one of the oldest and most experienced Television and movie actors in the industry. He started his three decade long career way back in 1980’s and has been very active since then in both movies and on television. Anant Mahadevan was born and bought up in Kerala, India. Anant started his career playing small time roles in movies where his acting was much appreciated every time he shared a space on silver screen. Just after spending some time in the industry he made a very good name for himself and was rated one of the best supporting actors of his era.
His parts in the blockbuster movies such as '
Akele Hum Akele Tum', and '
Ishq', made Anant a household face. Over the years Anant Mahadaven was seen in blockbuster films such as 'Mann' and ‘
Baadshah’ and also critically acclaimed movies such as ‘joggers Park’. After spending about a decade on big screen he shifted his attention to small screen with hit TV shows such as '
The Sword of Tipu Sultan' and '
Ghar Jamai'. In both these shows Anant played very crucial parts and his acting skills were duly noted. He also got and shared a National Award for best screenplay and dialogs for the hit Marathi film 'Mee Sindhutai Sapkal' with Sanjay Pawar. He directed his first Hindi motion picture in 2002 titled '
Dil Vil Pyar Vyar'. Along with this Anant later directed Shahid Kapoor Starter ‘ Dil Maange More!!!’.
