Rohan Shivkumar is an architect, urban designer, and film director living in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He completed his Master's in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Maryland in 1997. He is working as the Dean (Research and Academic Development) and deputy director of Kamla Raheja Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai. In 2017, Rohan, along with Avijit Mukul Kishore, wrote and co-directed the Indian documentary film Nostalgia For The Future. He is the co-editor of Project Cinema City, a publication on research and art collaboration. He writes blogs on cinema and urban issues for Anarchytect. Rohan is also working on a book about Indian home designs and architectural practices.
