On 11th of February in the year 2004, Hitoshi Takagi died due to partial ischemic heart disease at the age of 78 in Japan. His funeral service was held at his production company named “81 Produce” on 17th of February in the year 2004 at 11:30 am. His eldest son named “Takemoto” was the chief mourner.
