Amy Marie Hill was born in the house of a Finnish-Japanese couple in the city of Deadwest, South Dakota, in the United States of America, on May 9th, 1953. She has an adopted daughter whose name is Penelope Hill. She is a world-renown actress, a famous voice-over artist, a stand-up comedian, and a professional theatrical performer. She has been working in this industry for more than 30 years. She underlay her career by working with Asian American Theatre Company based in San Fransisco as a theatre artist. She has been a brilliant writer and has written and directed several TV movies, such as Tokyo Bound (All Parts) and Reunion.
She has worked in the regional theatrical industry. She has also played her part in different plays in many world-renowned regional theatres, such as the Actors Theatre of Louisville and The Public Theatre in New York City. Her career as a voice artist has been great, as she has worked in numerous sitcoms. She provided her voice to the character of Mama Ling in American Dad, a famous sitcom, and as the character of Laoma Souphanousinphone in King of the Hill (sitcom) too.
Her work in the All-American Girl sitcom as an actress gained popularity and started to get recognized as she played the role of Yung Hee in it. She has previously worked in Just Add Magic, a television series by Prime Videos, as Mama P. She has worked in more than thirty films and has played numerous diversified roles. As a voice artist, Amy has given her voice in more than 100 television series. She has also acted in some of the greatest television sitcoms, such as Friends and the Office. She also had a small role in Spiderman-Homecoming as the decathlonmoderator.
