Analysis
Orion and the Dark is a fun children's fable built on a classic narrative that makes its message clear and appeals to audiences of all ages. The core theme of overcoming fears, including the fear of the dark and various insecurities, is artfully depicted through a bedtime story told across two generations. However, the complexity of the storyline might pose a challenge for younger viewers to grasp fully. On the other hand, the movie delivers a profound lesson that resonates with children and adults. The animation is pretty solid with some good colours and models. I love how parents were characterized in the story. They are loving, supportive, and understanding. However, the writing and the way of putting the story together could be a little better.Â
