Matilda Ziegler

Matilda Zieglar(born on 23rd July, 1964) is an English actress. Her birthplace is Ashford, Kent, England. She is a multi-talented personality because she has worked on tv, films, stage and on the radio too. Her brother’s name is Dominic Zeigler ( well-known journalist). Carl Gordon Zeigler and Elizabeth Mary Hallinan are her parents. She is married to Louis Hilyer (Actor).They have three children. Matilda has played a significant role in the popular comedy series ‘Mr. Bean’. She played his love interest.Zeigler appeared only in four episodes but was able to capture people’s attention.As this show was a huge success, she got an opportunity to work in two more films- ‘Decadence’ in 1994 and ‘Jilting Joe’ in 1998.

Her first screen role was in her early twenties ,where she played Donna Ludlow in the serial East Enders. It was among her best performances. The final death scenes of her character are said to be the most impactful anti-drug images screened.Harbor lights ( 1999) , Where the heart isn(2000) , Holby city (2003), An unsuitable job for a woman (1998) are a few of her television works. Zieglar has also appeared in various stage productions such as ‘Twelfth night’ and the theatrical version of Mr.Bean. Zeigler was excellent in her craft.Her TV series ‘Sex Traffic' won eight BAFTA ( The British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards. The show has also won four Gemini awards. As an actress, Matilda never thought about the length of her character. Therefore she also played a supporting role in the TV series ‘Lark Rise to Candleford’.

The show lasted for four straight years. She also repeated her earlier role of Irma Gobbin Mr. Bean :An animated series ( animated version of Mr. Bean’s show). Zieglar voiced her character in the animated version.Being a multifaceted woman, she has also appeared in radio shows such as ‘Rigor Mortis’ and ‘Cabin Pressure.’ There is no such concrete information available on her personal life.
