Christopher Francis Viller was born on 7Th September 1960 in the London city of United Kingdom. He is also known by other pet-names such as Chris Villiers. The actors’ height is 5 feet 10 inches.He is the son of a soldier, David Hugh Villiers, and Elizabeth Barabara Hobbins. He has two siblings, Jay Villers, who is an actor by profession and Cat Villiers, who is a British film producer.  He is the husband of Kathryn Threlfall. The couple got married in 1985 and gave birth to two children.

Villiers did his schooling from the Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, England. 

Villiers’ debut on television was in the show, Ladykillers in 1981. He acted only in one of the episodes, The Darlingest Boy, and played the role of Frederick Bywaters. 

Villiers’ second show was an LWT production (London Weekend Television), The Gentle Touch by Terence Feely in 1981. In this show too, he acted in just one episode and played the character, PC Ian Hardings. This was a show about many policemen and their daily struggles. 

Other than these shows, Villiers also featured in a famous TV series, Young Sherlock- The Mystery of the Manor House. In this show, he played the role of Jasper Moran and acted in eight episodes. 

As an actor, Villiers is best known for his work in the show Emmerdale. He played the role of Grayson Sinclair from 2006 to 2008 and acted in ninety-seven episodes in total. 

Villiers is also credited for co-writing the screenplay of many movies. He wrote the screenplay of the movie, Two Men Went to War, along with Richard Everett in 2002. This was a war comedy directed by John Henderson. It was based on a true story about a Sergeant from the Army Dental Corps and his partner. 

Other than this, Villiers has mostly written the screenplays of some short films.He has also worked as a director of four short and one full-length film.

Chris is the co-founder of the 2020 Casting Ltd, London, along with Richard Smedley (Chris’s personal trainer). It is a casting studio, which provides junior artists for the role of extras in movies.They started it in 1995. This agency is known to be the first one to contact its members through text messages and also the first one to take photographs of artists digitally. This agency is also credited for supplying actors for almost 200 movies in its 20 decades of service.
