Alan Dale

Alan Hugh Dale is an artist of New Zealand also called as Alan Hugh Dale. Alan Dale was born in Dunedin, South Island, New Zealand on May 6, 1947. He has been acting over 80 acts including TV shows and films. He is more prominent for villain roles in all the films he acted.

He is most remembered for the act of the eight-year role as Jim Robinson in opera Neighbours an Australian program. Next to it comes the role of Caleb in THE O.C TV series. He was featured in Lost TV series. He started his screen presence right from his childhood i.e. at the age of 12 itself. Recognizing his talent he got many opportunities and chances to act along with many stars later on.

Besides an actor he is a good rugby player too. He can simply be called as an all-rounder because of the number of professions he acquired in order to maintain his family lifestyle.His debut performance was at a school concert, Shelley Berman was the role he played and was able to get good appreciation for it.

He left the profession as rugby player at the age of 21 and started his profession of acting at the age of 27. Dale’s debut into professional acting job was in playing as an Indian, it was for The Royal Hunt of the Sun. It was played in a theatre in Auckland. Dale’s first appearance in films was with the film of house boat horror and later on worked for many famous movies like Star trek: Nemesis, After the Sunset, INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF IRON SKULL, A little bit of heaven, The girl with dragon tattoo as a detective made him very popular and his latest screen appearance was for the film of entourage.

It is a great opportunity for him to work for the role of Councilman Rockwell in the movie CAPTAIN AMERICA WINTER SOLIDER. He also acted in many TV shows. With over 60 TV shows as a leading role and many characters,the famous TV shows he acted are the young Doctors were his debut TV show.

There are many like The far country, NCIS, Space: above and beyond, state corner, ER and in X-FILES as tooth pick man his acting was marvellous, CSI:Miami, The O.C, lost, ugly Betty, his latest appearances in TV shows was secret city in 2016 and home land in 2017 and many such other TV shows.

Dale had two children with Claire his girl friend who he married in 1968 and later got divorced. He had another two with Tracey Pearson who was Miss Australia.Simon and Matthew with Claire and Daniel and Nick with Tracey. He lives along with his family now in Los Angeles of California near Mahattan beach.
