Jim Morrison aka James Douglas, is an American singer, poet, and songwriter. He was born on 8th December 1943 in Melbourne, Florida in the United States. But people started recognizing him as the lead singer of The Doors. His personality was so appealing; he was regarded by critics and fans as one of the most Ionic and influential people in the rock music industry. Jim Morrison in 1965 co-founded The Doors in Venice, California. His band went unrecognized for two years, before releasing 'Light My Fire', from his first album. Morrison recorded six studio record albums with the Doors, and all of which sold well and received a good critic response. After his death on 3rd July 1971, The Doors released two more albums.

But his death was crippling, and they moved apart in 1973. Then in 1991, Morrison was put on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a prestigious member of The Doors. He got the rank 47 on Rolling Stones among 100 Greatest Singers. Also by Classic Rock Magazine, he was listed at 22, among the top 50 greatest singers of all time. He was also known as “Mr. Mojo Risin,” “Lizard King,” and “King of Orgasmic Rock.” Later in the year 1960, Morrison got addicted to alcohol which sometimes affected his performance on stage. He died in Paris when he was twenty-seven due to a possible overdose of Heroin, but no autopsy was performed.

The actual cause of death is still unknown. Morrison for his studies, attended University of California, Los Angles and got his degree in fine arts in 1965. He enrolled in advocacy and continued his studies until his death (1971). Mr. Jim Morrison was also a writer and wrote some great books like 'The Lords' and 'New Creatures' in 1969, 'An American Prayer' in 1970, 'Arden mountain', edition bilingual in and 'Wilderness: The Lost Writings of Jim Morrison' in the year 1988, and 'The American Night: The Writings of Jim Morrison' came in the year 1990. Also the 'Lost writing of Jim Morrison Volume 1', released in 1988 became the New York Bestseller. His Volume 2 of 'American Night' was also a hit.
