Ahmad Jamal is a famous American jazz pianist and composer. He was born on 2 July 1930. He started playing piano at the age of three. After this, he learned piano from Mary Cardwell Dawson, founder of the National Negro Opera Company. By his teenage years, Jamal became a skilled musician and performed regularly in the local jazz scene. He released many of his albums which were liked by the people.
