Olivia Munn

Olivia Munn is an American actress-cum-model. She began her career in TV journalism and later, forayed into acting in TV serials. She hosted many shows on Television and this helped her to gain some supporting roles in cinema and television.

The early stages of her life had never been smooth. She had to live with her stepfather and mother. She was born to Winston Barrett Munn and Kimberly Schmid. When she was just 2 years old, her mother, Kimberly Schmid married to a lad who was the member of United States Air Force.

Although her family moved from one place to place, Olivia stayed permanently at Yokota Air Base near Tachikawa in Tokyo, Japan. Here, she came in contact with many theater groups and became quite well acquainted with the fashion industry of Japan. After her stepfather and mother got divorced, she completed her journalism degree at the University of Oklahoma, with Japanese language and dramatic arts as minor subjects.

After graduation, she became an intern at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa. She also did intern at Fox Sports Networks, dominating Football and basketball space. She worked as sideline reporter in Fox channel but did not like the job as she felt she was not meant to do that. Hence, she moved to Los Angeles. Luckily, she grabbed a small role in a video horror film, 'Scarecrow Gone Wild ' and eventually appeared for an American punk rock band, 'Zebrahead' album along with singer, Justin Mauriello.

This actress was offered in early stages of her career to appear in two seasons of TV drama series - ‘Beyond the Break’ on The N network. Later, she got chances to appear in the film 'The Road to Canyon Lake'.

In the year 2010, she got mini-role in two movies -' Date Night Click to look into! >> Read More... ' and 'Iron Man-2' and even got recognizable roles in ABC Family's Greek, portraying  Cappie's love interest, Lana. She also got offers to play a role in 'Perfect Couples' too which was presented by NBC channel. She rose to prominence by appearing in the role of a correspondent on Comedy Central's -'The Daily Show'. Later on, she was added in another 16 more episodes to appear as a correspondent in the same show.

She also appeared in Magic Mike Click to look into! >> Read More... directed by Steven Soderbergh and played an important role HBO’show -‘The Newsroom’. Munin was in a relationship with Aaron Rodgers, from 2014 to 2017.
